Jeffrey Hutchins
Senior Attorney
Jeffrey F. Hutchins, a Northern California native, met his wife while studying abroad in college. Her Kernersville, NC, roots ultimately brought him to the town he now calls home.
​
Before attending law school, Jeff worked in Human Resources for three years. He passed the North Carolina bar in 2011 and immediately established his own general practice in Kernersville, focusing on family, business, and general civil litigation.
​
Jeff is actively involved in serving his community. He volunteers with the North Carolina Bar Association’s “Lawyer on the Line Program” and partners with Legal Aid to provide legal services to low-income individuals. He also serves on the Kernersville Parks & Recreation advisory board and the CareNet Counseling board at Main Street UMC.

Deeply committed to Kernersville, Jeff is proud to be part of its growth and dedicated to supporting the community.
​
In his free time, he enjoys reading, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his four young children. He also coaches soccer with Carolina Core Football Club and serves as a Cub Scout den leader.

Terri Murphy
Legal Assistant
Terri is a long-time resident of Kernersville, NC where she attended East Forsyth High School and earned a degree in Early Childhood Education from UNCG.
She spent 37 years teaching children and building relationships in the classroom and with the families at Kernersville Elementary School before retiring in June 2025.
Terri is excited to continue serving the greater Kernersville community and building relationships as she transitions back into the workforce.
Her warm, approachable nature and strong organizational skills help her support both clients and colleagues, making her an important part of our team as a Legal Assistant.
When she and her husband are not traveling to visit their grown children and grandchildren, she enjoys puzzling, reading, beaching, and binging a great series.
Sarah Newman
Legal Assistant
Sarah is originally from a suburb of St. Louis, MO where she obtained a degree in Psychology and an MAT in Early Childhood Education. She moved to Kernersville at the end of 2009.
Sarah's background is in early childhood education but she has also managed a small business for many years. She will primarily be assisting the firm with probate cases and other essential duties for the firm.
When she's not chasing her 2 kids around, Sarah enjoys playing soccer, running, baking and reading.
Ryan Hutchins
Office Manager

Ryan, a Kernersville native, graduated from UNC Charlotte with a degree in Marketing. She contributes to many areas of the firm, primarily focusing on marketing and accounting.
​
Beyond her professional work and raising four children, Ryan is an avid gym enthusiast and an active member of her community. She serves on the Kernersville Elementary School and Kernersville Middle School PTAs, participates on several committees with Kiwanis of Kernersville, and is a member of the Kernersville Woman's Club.
